As some of you will already know, after the request of a second opinion last week, Katie’s scheduled chemotherapy session was postponed.
After the devastating news that the previous treatment targeting the bowel hadn’t worked, Katie returns to Burton’s Queens Hopital today to start her new chemotherapy treatment, this time, targeting the Ovaries.
With the added strength and possible different side effects to her previous treatment, one of which may include hair loss, Katie deserves our support, love and thoughts more than ever through this next stage and we just wanted her to know we are all behind her, rooting for her and equally proud of her continued strength and determination to fight her cancer.
We love you and are thinking of you always xxxxxxx
